Hi,

It has been 8 months after I came back from graduation in Canada. In these 8 months, I changed my job once. My first job was working at Bank of China (HK), I was a teller/customer services office. Fortunately, I was arranged to a small branch that did not have too many people compared with other branches, but still "many". Everyday, I worked in front of a glass, there was customer on the other side of the glass. So that I could make sure that I was well protected. I rememeber that as a teller, I never had a rest, since there were too many people in the line waiting for the counter available. Sometimes, they could immediately change to a bad mood because of waiting too much. Although I always use money, I still can get nervous when carrying money that are not mine and also when carrying a big amount of money. I still remember the people who came to our branch always wanted to withdraw $100,000. That's quite a lot for me. Sometime, there were some small shops who would like to deposit small amount of money. But the money was scattered. (Too many coins) Then I would slowly count the money. However, I always got so nervous when counting in front of the customers. In addition to it, I could see many people in the line that could make me very nervous. I still remember the first time I encountered "too many coins", I got 5 different results. Finally, 3 months has passed, I left as I could not sell products(Credit card), and still have not got so used to working as teller.

After taking a short break, I was employed by another bank as a buisness officer. It was a very small bank and they were so brave since I did not have any experience in retail banking. However, I still got employed.  So, it also does count as an upgrade. It's been almost 3 months. I started knowing how to do my job and what my responsibilies are. I always serve business customers. My job duty is to open a business account for them. Before that, I have to know my customer, understand their company structure, and do some basic review. It is not a easy job since the customers always give me too many documents or too little.  If there are too many documents, it does take me a night to finish reading them. As a result, overtime working always happens. If too little, I have to call the customers to re-submit documents to me and check if there are any problems in the documents. So, I have to make sure that the information I got from the customers is real and reasonable.

If you asked me which job I like, I would say the job I am working now is much better. As long as I do not need to face the customers twenty four seven, it will be very okay.

I still get many things that I would like to share with people. But if I shared now, it would make the freewriting too long.

I am signing off now. Bye!ハート
