*Spanish*

I've decided to study Spanish.

Why Spanish?

It's simply because one of my friends from overseas who is American speaks Spanish fluently and I felt that so cool.

Here I vow to acquire Spanish as my third language within two years or so.

Actually I might be way too optimistic about this but I'm confident I'm gonna manage it.

Words of Spanish and those of English look and sound quite alike as English's borrowed most of its words from Latin and this aspect is gonna be giving me a lot of help, I think.

Let's get started on it!!


*Excursus*
If you're fluent both in Spanish and English(or Japanese hopefully), then I was wondering if you could help me out.
So, if you don't mind, I'm gonna plead with you guys for any help regarding vocabulary, grammar, etc etc... Anything is gonna be welcome as long as it's related to Spanish.
Try not to hesitate 'cause it's all welcome.

In a news usually reporting transfer-related information, a Swedish football player was quoted as saying...

"By no means am I not signing, but I couldn't promise anyone that I will sign either."

In the first harf of the remark above, definately he's meant to heavily affirm the verb using two negative adverbs, I guess.

But, at the same time, a question struck me. Actually, I was starting to wonder if the native would prefer to use that compricated form[by no means is A not B.].

So, I asked if to one of my native friends and the answer was...








"No."

Then, I said to myself "What a relief.". Actually, I ain't sure whether I coulda precisely got what he said if I had been the interviewer...

I think I still got a long way to go.

I don't think it's impossible to naturally get what a speaker says just like the native does, but I know it's kinda difficult to reach the level...

Anyway, I'm dreaming of talking that way the native does.
