日本、暖かいですね。

飛行機が離陸する前、窓からのぞいてみたら、

空が青くてとてもきれいでした。

一週間ぐらい、ブログを英語で書き続けて申し訳ありませんでした　ｍ（＿＿）ｍ

皆さんの応援やwelcomeのメッセージをいただき誠にありがとうございました！

短い一週間でしたね。友達に会ったり、買い物したりするといつの間にか

時間が立ってしまいました。

故郷の薬局はハーブが沢山あって・・・

本当に全部買いたいと思いながら少ししか買いませんでした　

買ったものはこちらです

Potentilla reptans

Malva silvestris (ブルー　マロー）の葉

Valeriana oficinalis　

Leonuruｓ cardiaca　（motherwort, またはLion's tail)

Plantaginis

Fructus mali (Crab-apple fruit)です。

ヨーロッパでは大昔から使われているハーブですが

日本語の名前ほとんど知らなくて、申し訳ありません　ｍ（＿＿）ｍ

小さいボトルに入っているのはライラック、ブラックチェリー、ピーチFOですが、

ローズEOも買って来ました！

これからEOブレンディングと石鹸作りが楽しみです

続いて、

不思議な事に、今回生まれたはじめて自分の国を

観光客の目で見て来ました。

そのせいか、写真が、多すぎてどれをアップするのか、

迷いました　

テーマでアップした方がいいかも知れません。

１．スパ

ローマ帝国時代から残っているバース。お湯が下に流れていました。

お湯は暑くて、床や建物を全体的に暖房していたようです。

そして同じところでmedicineの神様のお寺もあったうですが、お寺そのものは中世にモスクに

立て替えたそうです。現在は博物館として使われています。

そして２０世紀に立てられたスパセンターとpablic bathです。

最後に数年前に立てられた近代的なスパセンター。

そして、chimney sweep。。。でも、衣服は黒くないです　　ね

ま、いいっか

西洋人はchimney sweepを見たら運が向いてくると信じています

Strawberry autumn

Good evening. This is Infusions

The south wind here makes the day feel like spring.

The temperature is 19 degrees celcius and it is expected to be even higher tomorrow.

The sky is blue, the clouds move so fast...As if a storm is developing in the sky.

And though there are no leaves in the trees, the strawberries are having their own autumn

Here is the strawberry patch in our yard

However, many houses here are painted in light cheerful colors

The moss in the park above the town is spring-green, cheerful, showing no signs of the

coming winter

And the Roman fortress above the town is covered in moss, a little misterious in the

morning mist (*^▽^*)

And something, which I really wanted to have while here.

This may look like tofu but it is not (^-^)

This is raw cheese, the thing you get before straining the water and getting the

hard substance which is left to mature for some time.

The taste is very light and naturally sweet.

Oh, it really tastes like heaven

This in fact is a salad made with green hot chili peppers

It is delicious (only) if you happen to like dangerously hot food





Well, I will be writing again with more pictures later.

A few thoughts

Hello! This is Infusions

Autumn is at its full swing but the temperature is not so low (fortunately!)

The days are and though there are no leaves in the trees,

the grass is still green and some bushes display their berries and yellow and red folliage

My 4-day being out of Japan feels like ages.

It is true I am home. It is really great...

Just I cannot help but notice how different my way

of thinking concerning everyday life (and not only) has become compared to everybody's here .

I am so grateful to my friends here for letting me show my Japanese side.

And though, I am sure, they find it unusual and amusing, they tolerate it and

keep asking how life in Japan is

And I also want to say that my friends in Japan are a blessing too

...For letting me show my non-Japanese side and for tolerating it.

I have really been blessed with my friends.

As I wrote the other day, I took many pictures but the systems (or should I say the software/hardware) here are different and I need a special device to upload pictures (＞＜;)

I will try to find it but who knows...

Thank you all very much for the heart-warming comments and your support!

I am sorry that I cannot reply yet m(_ _)m but will do it as soon as I can use Japanese software.

It feels great to be home and meet family and friends.

There are so many pictures which I will try to upload tomorrow.

石鹸のOP：スパイスやハーブについて

お早うございます。Infusionsです
秋の一番鮮やかな時期となりましたね。

故郷に帰ったら、PCは日本語のソフトはありませんので、
一週間くらい日本語で書くことが出来ないかも知れません。

出来ましたら、写真と短い英語の文書でブログを続けますので
また遊びに来ていただければうれしいです。

帰国する前、もう一つの記事を書かせて頂きます。

こちらの石鹸は4つ種類の天然色剤で作りました。




前から：
１．レッドサンダルウッドパウダー（300バッチに小さじ１）
２．シナモンパウダー（300バッチに小さじ１）
３．ログウッドパウダー（Logwood、ラテン名Haematoxylum campechianum）（300バッチに小さじ１）
４．柿渋（液体）水の量の5％

上の石鹸は色剤が苛性ソーダウォターに入れてから、オイルに入れ込みました。

レッドサンダルウッドで紫色の石鹸が出来るらしいですけど・・・
実験3回やっても一度も紫の石鹸にはなりませんでした　
ですが、その粉末はEOの定着剤になりますから
ミドルとトップノートのEOはそれほど早く”逃げない”のです。
そして、色はと～っても落ち着いています。

シナモンパウダーはそのまま生地に入れると茶色い石鹸が出来ますが、
苛性ソーダに加えたら、色はベージュになります。
石鹸を作って6ヶ月後でも、色はそれほどうすくなりません。

ログウッドの原産地はメキシコと中央南米で、
昔から紙や布の染料剤として使われています。
（何と、藍と同じような使い方ですね。）
6か月がたっても、色は退色しないで、赤がかかったきれいな茶色い石鹸です。

そして、次の石鹸の準備も完成です
