こんにちは。
ゴールデンウィークが始まりましたが、いかがお過ごしでしょうか。
先日は、幼少期にピアノをご指導くださった恩師、川島洋子先生にお声がけいただき、先生のお教室の発表会に賛助出演させていただきました。
川島先生については、以前、感謝の気持ちを込めて書かせていただいたことがあります。

川島洋子先生には、大貫音楽院で幼少期にピアノをご指導いただいて以来、今日に至るまで温かく見守り続けていただき、心から感謝しております。
現在は群馬県太田市にて川島ミュージック・スクールを主宰されていらっしゃいます。
これまでの第1回・第2回ピアノチャリティーリサイタルにおきましても、多大なるご尽力を賜り、楽屋でのサポートをはじめ、お茶やお赤飯までご用意くださるなど、細やかなお心遣いをいただきました。
今回は発表会ということで、小さなお子様から幅広い年齢の生徒の皆さまが、それぞれ素晴らしい演奏を披露されていました。
楽屋で緊張しながら出番を待つ姿を拝見し、かつての自分自身の姿と重なり、懐かしく温かい気持ちになりました。
私は賛助出演として、リスト作曲《スペイン狂詩曲》と、自作曲《春の空》を演奏させていただきました。
日々の練習の積み重ねの大切さを改めて実感し、今後もより良い演奏を目指して精進してまいりたいと思います。
川島先生をはじめ、講師の先生方にはご多忙の中、大変ご親切にしていただき、本当にありがとうございました。
貴重な経験をさせていただき、心より深く御礼申し上げます。
Golden Week has begun—how have you been spending these days?
The other day, I had the pleasure of being invited by my childhood piano teacher, my dear mentor Ms. Yoko Kawashima, to perform as a guest at her music school’s recital.
I have written about Ms. Kawashima before, sharing my heartfelt gratitude for all she has given me.

Since my early childhood, when I first had the privilege of studying piano with Ms. Yoko Kawashima at Onuki Music Academy, she has continued to support and encourage me with such kindness.
She now leads Kawashima Music School in Ota City, Gunma, where she nurtures many students with the same warmth and dedication.
At both the first and second charity piano recitals, she gave so generously of her time and care—waiting for me backstage, and even bringing tea and homemade sekihan. I am truly touched by her thoughtfulness, and feel deeply grateful for all that she has done for me.
This time, as it was a student recital, performers of all ages—from very young children to more advanced students—shared beautiful performances. Watching the children waiting nervously backstage brought back memories of my own younger days, and I felt a quiet sense of nostalgia seeing them alongside Ms. Kawashima.
As a guest performer, I had the honor of playing Liszt’s Spanish Rhapsody as well as my own composition, Spring Sky. This experience reminded me once again of the importance of daily practice, and I hope to continue growing and refining my music.
To Ms. Kawashima and all the teachers, thank you so much for your kindness and support despite your busy schedules. I am truly grateful for this precious opportunity, and from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
