Due to the rapid progress of Information Technology and transportation in modern civilization we have been able to obtain a more convenient and comfortable life than ever before thought possible. We never could have imagined that the Internet and E-mail would enable us to instantaneously access information from all over the world. We are now able to communicate with anybody faster than at any other time in human history.
The world has been flooded with a huge amount of information and material possessions. However, are the spiritual lives of the people in modern society really fruitful?
We used to lose ourselves listening to bird song or looking at flowers, talking to the stars in the night sky, we used to be absorbed by poetry. Nowadays people’s minds are separated from the rhythm of nature; they are out of tune with the universe. It seems that they are isolated and feel left out.
The relationship between man and universe, nature and society has been separated, and the connection between people seems to be becoming weaker and weaker.
Our current way of thinking has become one dimensional. Science and technology are separated from ourselves, then being an object. In this situation there is possibility that all phenomenon caused in this world has tendency to be treated as materials.
It is obviously true that modern material culture has become a big progress by the way of thinking that we criticize all apart from ourselves, and reduce into a material and the number.
However, on the other hand, there is the tendency of that human-being treats our precious lives as materials and counts it as a number. This decline human’s nature reading a poem impressed by consonant with the rhythm of nature and universe. That cause that human’s fruitful spirituality and morality created from reading poem is bereaved.
Thus, people’s minds are separated from the rhythm of nature and they are out of tune with the universe. It makes people feel more and more isolated feel left out.
The more people ask for only satisfaction of material richness, the more egoism which fulfill with one’s desire spread all over the world.
As a result, it invades one’s indifferent to others and anemia having hand in others.
They effect to cause such villain as Indifferentism, discrimination, abhorrence destroying ecosystem, war and terrorism.
In this modern society, creation and rhythm of nature symbiotically dismembered many times. Peace of a family, ethnic, nation and entropic society are devastated by warfare caused by one’s stunt ego poisoned by egoism.
Abandon and indifferent are defeat of one’s soul. I cannot accept the villain which trample human’s dignity and coerce common people’s life. A poet also suffers from the blasphemy because he thinks it happened to himself.
