Our focus is on understanding and explaining how youth can build international careers.
What are the concrete steps we take?
So far, we have decided to do the following:
1) Collect information about studying abroad or working abroad weekly, then present it to others. After presenting, upload to the Internet to build our public database.
(And then, we publish it next year!)

2) Practice English by using it to complete these tasks.

3) Regularly invite experienced guest speakers.

It is my firm belief that through making such focused efforts,
we can overcome our sense that change is somehow “impossible”
or that “the situation can’t be helped”.
For me, only we can change the world; we have to do it with our own hands.

星Discussion星
We discussed the following topics today.

◯What should Japan learn from North European countries
such as Norway?
(in terms of economy, social policy or culture? etc.etc)

◯Also, what should we learn as individuals from them?

◯What aspects of traditional Japanese culture can
we proudly introduce to other countries?

*Are there non-traditional cultures and cultural
products we can also proudly share?

◯What is your position on the issue of whale
hunting? Why are you for/against it?

⇒It was a nice discussion for the first time.
It would be nice if we can make small groups to discuss,
and then, present the group's idea to the other grou
next week.
Anyway, everyone participated actively!!

Introducing iCircle
iCircle is an entirely new student society that is now
recruiting members. If you are dreaming of an international
career but feel like you don't know enough about how to
build one, this is the circle you should join.

What does iCircle do?
iCircle will hold exchange and information-sharing
meetings between like-minded students to support
career planning and to enjoy networking. We will
also plan company visits & high-value workshops.

English as a common language
Since iCircle uses English as its common language, it will offer
a unique opportunity to not just learn English but to use it in a
practical context. English will also enable us to interact with the
global society more directly than other university circles.

*This society welcomes members not
only from Kobe University but also from other universities.
