Bob: Oh, hi, Hideki, howareyoudOing?
Hideki: I am fine, thank you. And you?
I am fine, thank you."
"And you?"
これは多分、"How are you doing?"

Situational Intuition
Bob: Oh, hi, Hideki, howareyoudOing?
Hideki: I am fine, thank you. And you?
Though the Bob's utterance "howareyoudOing?" was fast, Hideki was barely
able to catch the first "how are you" of it because of the greeting situation.
And he said, "I am fine, thank you. And you?", which was very good for him.
But he wasn't able to catch the following stressed "doing" probably because
the sentence as a whole was uttered a little too fast for him and also because
he hadn't been used to the sentence, "How are you doing?"
