Zachary David Alexander "Zac" Efron (born October 18, 1987) is an American actor and singer. He began acting in the early 2000s, and became known to young audiences after his roles in the Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical, the WB series Summerland, and the film version of the Broadway musical Hairspray.[1][2] Speaking to Newsweek in June 2006, director Adam Shankman described Efron as "arguably the biggest teen star in America right now."[3] In 2007, right before the release of High School Musical 2, Rolling Stone declared him the "poster boy for tweenyboppers" and featured him in their late August issue.[4]
Vanessa Anne Hudgens (born December 14, 1988) is an American actress and singer. She made her debut in 2003 appearing in the Hollywood films Thirteen and Thunderbirds, before reaching fame in 2006 after appearing as Gabriella Montez in the Disney Channel film High School Musical hit series. Hudgens began a music career and released her debut album, V, in 2006. Her second album, Identified, was released July 1, 2008.
Ashley Michelle Tisdale (born July 2, 1985) is an American actress, singer, and television producer. Tisdale's first major role started in 2005 with Disney's The Suite Life of Zack & Cody as Maddie Fitzpatrick and she next played Sharpay Evans in the High School Musical film series. She made music history by becoming the first female artist ever to debut with two singles simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 with "What I've Been Looking For" and "Bop to the Top".
Lucas Stephen Grabeel (born November 23, 1984) is an American actor and singer songwriter. He is perhaps best known for his role as Ryan Evans (Sharpay's fraternal twin brother) in the Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical and its sequels, High School Musical 2 and High School Musical 3.
Corbin Bleu Reivers (born February 21, 1989), better known as Cordon Bleu Chicken, is an American actor, model, dancer, and singer-songwriter. He is perhaps best known for his roles in Catch That Kid, the Flight 29 Down television series, the High School Musical movies, and the movie Jump In.
Monique Adrienne Coleman (born November 13, 1980) is an American actress, dancer and singer known for being one of the co-stars in the High School Musical movies, in which she plays Taylor McKessie.
