Special Offers on Taos Ski Valley Passes Available in October

PR Newswire

TAOS SKI VALLEY, N.M., Oct. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Taos Ski Valley, which will be opening its much-anticipated Kachina Peak lift this winter, is offering several specials on ski passes for the upcoming season. The passes deliver Taos Ski Valley's guests extraordinary value and variety, while ensuring all skiers and snowboarders – from novice to expert – can enjoy everything Taos Ski Valley has to offer, including more exchange options than ever before.

One of the best values in all of skiing is the popular Millennium Pass, which offers 70 days at Taos Ski Valley as well as exchange days at Copper Mountain, Durango Mountain Resort, Crested Butte, Arapahoe Basin, Powder Mountain and, new this year, Silverton Mountain and Grand Targhee. Through Oct. 27, the Millennium Pass is only $625, a savings of almost 20 percent. In addition, Taos' full season pass and the Taos Card are significantly reduced for a limited time. Also in October, Taos Ski Valley is offering season passes of only $337 to college students, seniors and children ages 7-17, as well as active military, fire and police personnel.

"This is going to be one of the most exciting seasons at Taos Ski Valley ever because of the new developments including the new Kachina Peak lift, the new hike-to terrain and all the programs and events we have in store," said Gordon Briner, Taos Ski Valley's CEO. "The passes we're offering demonstrate our commitment to keeping Taos an accessible and affordable destination for all, while still providing a world-class skiing experience."

In addition to a variety of discounted passes, Taos Ski Valley is once again offering the direct-to-lift Taos Card, which gives visitors $17 off the single-day ticket rate during regular season, plus every 7th day is free. The Taos Card lets skiers and riders go straight to the lift by charging their credit cards automatically, and it provides great discounts in and around the resort center on items such as lessons, dining and gear.

Taos Ski Valley is expected to open Thanksgiving weekend and will offer early season, full day adult lift tickets of only $59, with children, students and seniors further discounted. Regular season rates will be only $82 for a full day adult lift, representing a significant value over internationally recognized ski areas.

All ski passes and offerings are available online at www.skitaos.org, where visitors can also plan travel, browse the upcoming season events and get updates on the latest snowmaking and construction projects at Taos Ski Valley.
