I'm getting ready for the relocation of my salon and have been necessary doccuments.
私は今サロンの移転と必要な書類の準備をしている。
I received an email from my real estate agent asking for a fast copy of may pasport.
不動産かたメールがきて、パスポートの最初のコピーをくださいと言われた。
I hadn't heard the term and didn't know whether it meant fast or first.
私はその言葉を聞いたことがなくて、fastかfirstのどちらかわからなかった。
The Japanese pronunciation of the English words fast and first very similar.
日本語では2つの英語の言葉はとても似ている。
At first I thought it was "fast", like a black and white, quick copy of something.
私は"fast"という意味だと思って、白黒印刷のことかなと思った。
it turns out that it was "first copy" as in a copy of the original, and not a copy of a copy
first copyは本物をコピーしたものっていう意味だとわかって。コピーのコピーじゃダメってこと。

今回は、教科書的なスクリプトでした。英語初心者が英会話をする時、自分の知っている話題に繋げて行くのって大事だと思います。ぴーこは結局お互い話がわからず苦笑いで終わる経験を何度もしています笑 今もねw
あとはoftenの発音！オーフンって言っていたので今日から訂正します。
