I was in anticipation upon receiving this vintage menstrual belt from Japan, its always a curiosity imagining the woman whom worn such a high class item in its day. Always exciting receiving vintage menstrution products from Japan especially with contents and at the time of the sale only the top surface of the contents were exposed leading to even more mystery. I won the bid at the cost of 13,600 yen+ 4,050 yen shipping+1,715yen for import fee so a grand total of 19,365 yen. I've seen these type of vintage products sell for alot more depending on the brand and condition. After unpackaging , i always apprectiate the care and aethetics the Japanese take for mailing packages overseas, I took a small peak inside of the contents and as usual long term storage had deterioated the rubber part and caused alot of cosmetic damage to the papers and material, it was obvious the contents had been undisturbed for sometime and were very stiff and rigid. I could hear the old menstrual rubber crackling when i tried to tamper with it ,due to its dryness. Finally I could open and see what treasures could be seen within, there was no obvious odors or uncleanliness to it. Surviving time was its only demise, I suppose some restoration could be done to bring it back but then I took a pause and stuck the contents back in the container to maintain its orginality and consider it an admiralble addition to my vintage Japanese menstruation history collection.
