■Zoo教研現会長・高橋ヒロユキ氏の詐称と責任逃避
高橋氏は数年前、会員向けメッセージで、Zoo教研のことを「当学会」と詐称した。Zoo教研は研究会であって決して学会ではない。研究会でしかないものをあたかも学会のように誤魔化すのは、Zoo教研の歴代指導者の悪い癖である。五代目会長の高橋氏もその悪い流れを汲む。
私はただちに高橋氏に抗議し、撤回を要求した（このときの研究会はコロナ禍のためZOOM開催であった）。だが彼は撤回することなく、会員を欺いたままの状態が今も続いている。その後彼に会ったときには、直接その理由を問い質してもいる。だが彼はこれも黙殺したままである。
私はZoo教研は自分を偽ることなく健全に発展しなければならないと考えている。高橋会長といい、その周囲にいる運営委員といい、社会のなかに存在する者として、その鈍感な責任感覚と不誠実な社会感覚をきびしく問われなければならない。
■Deception and Responsibility Evasion by Current Zookyoken Chairman Hiroyuki Takahashi
Several years ago, current Chairman Takahashi fraudulently referred to Zookyoken as “this academic conference” in a message to members. Zookyoken is a research group, not a academic conference. Disguising a mere research group as if it were a academic conference is a bad habit of successive leaders of Zookyoken. Mr. Takahashi, the fifth chairman, follows this same harmful precedent.
I immediately protested to Mr. Takahashi and demanded a retraction (this meeting was held via Zoom due to the COVID-19 pandemic). However, he has refused to retract his statement, and the deception of members continues to this day. When I later met him in person, I directly questioned him about his reasons. Yet he has remained silent on this matter as well.
I believe Zookyoken must develop healthily without deceiving itself. Both Chairman Takahashi and the surrounding executive committee members, as members of society, must be severely questioned for their insensitive sense of responsibility and dishonest social awareness.
■遠藤悟郎氏の口先だけの野生動物保護
遠藤悟郎氏はZoo教研の初代会長であるとともに、埼玉県こども動物自然公園（以下、こども動物園）の初代の園長でもあった。さて、こども動物園でサル山を造ることになり、日本モンキーセンターからそのサルを譲ってもらおう、その話を具体的にまとめあげようというまさにその時、彼は私から日本モンキーセンターによる犯罪的ニホンザル供給の話を聞いたのである。彼が東京駅から名古屋に向かう新幹線の中であった。
Goro Endo's Lip-Service Wildlife Conservation
Goro Endo served as the founding chairman of the Zookyoken and was also the first director of the Saitama Children's Zoo and Nature Park (hereafter referred to as the Children's Zoo). Now, when plans were made to create a monkey hill at the Children's Zoo and to formally arrange for monkeys to be transferred from the Japan Monkey Center, it was precisely at that moment that he heard from me about the Japan Monkey Center's criminal supply of Japanese macaques. This occurred while he was on the Shinkansen train heading from Tokyo Station to Nagoya.
猿害問題の解決という大義名分に隠れて日本モンキーセンターが、野生ニホンザルの群れを自然から法的、倫理的、社会的に収奪するという犯罪を繰り返し、人間世界に提供しているという隠れた事実を詳細に説明したのである。ライターとして長年の取材で知りえた事実を良い方向に活用してもらえればと考え、惜しみなく情報を提供した。
It detailed the hidden truth that, under the guise of solving monkey damage problems, the Japan Monkey Center repeatedly commits the crime of legally, ethically, and socially stripping wild Japanese macaque troops from nature and supplying them to the human world. As a writer, I provided this information freely, hoping the facts I learned through years of reporting would be put to good use.
Zoo教研は正式名称を「日本動物園水族館教育研究会」という。名前からみてもその基本精神は野生動物保護ということになる。まして彼は会長なのである。また彼は、こども動物園の園長でもあるのである。日本モンキーセンターという犯罪者から野生ニホンザルの提供を受けてサル山を造るなど、どうみても許されるはずがなかった。それは日本モンキーセンターの犯罪を助長すると同時に、自らの使命を放棄することを意味したからである。サル山建設は最終的には埼玉県の予算がつかなくて実現はしなかった。だが彼が一動物園の私益のために、悪質な犯罪者からどこまでもサルを入手しようとした事実は消えないのである。
The official name of the Zookyoken is the “Japan Zoo and Aquarium Educations .” Even from its name, its fundamental spirit is wildlife conservation. And he is its chairman. He is also the director of a children's zoo. Accepting wild Japanese macaques from the Japan Monkey Center—a criminal organization—to build a monkey mountain was utterly unforgivable. It meant both aiding the Japan Monkey Center's crimes and abandoning his own mission. The monkey mountain project ultimately failed due to lack of Saitama Prefecture funding. Yet the fact remains: he attempted to acquire monkeys from a vicious criminal organization for the private gain of one zoo.
■遠藤の部下・日橋氏による「研究会誌への不掲載」という報復攻撃
こども動物園のサル山建設計画が立ち消えになってからずいぶん後、富山市ファミリーパークでZoo教研が開催された。テーマは「動物園と自然認識」であったかと思う。このときは筆者も口頭発表を行なった。動物園が日本モンキーセンターに依存してサル山を造ることは日本モンキーセンターの犯罪を助長し、また自らもその犯罪に加担することになるという現実を、動物園界の健全な発展のためによくないと考えた筆者は、固有名詞を出さないように慎重に注意しながら問題の構造を明らかにし、警告を発したのである。
■Retaliatory Attack by Mr.Nippasi, Endo's Subordinate: “Non-Publication in the Research Journal”
Long after the monkey hill construction plan for the Children's Zoo was shelved, a Zoo Education Research Conference was held at Toyama City Family Park. I believe the theme was “Zoos and Perceptions of Nature.” At this event, I also gave an oral presentation. The author, believing that zoos relying on the Japan Monkey Center to build monkey hills would encourage the Center's crimes and make the zoos themselves complicit in those crimes, considered this detrimental to the healthy development of the zoo industry. Therefore, while carefully avoiding specific names, the author clarified the structure of the problem and issued a warning.
この口頭発表は活字となり、ほかの口頭発表と合わせて一冊に製本され、Zoo教研の『研究会誌』となり、一年後に会員全員に配布された。ところが私の分だけ活字化されなかったのである。理由を示されることもなく、事前に通知を受けることもなく、一方的に不掲載にされたのである。これはZoo教研事務局長である日橋一昭氏の独断であった。日橋氏は既述の遠藤氏の部下である。かつて自分たちのサル山づくりの方法に異を唱えた私を逆恨みにしての行動であった。
This oral presentation was typeset and bound together with other oral presentations into a single volume, becoming the Zoo Research Group's Research Journal, which was distributed to all members a year later. However, only my contribution was not typeset. Without any explanation given, without any prior notification, it was unilaterally excluded from publication. This was the unilateral decision of Mr. Kazuaki Hishiba, the Secretary-General of the Zoo Research Group. Mr. Hishiba is a subordinate of the aforementioned Mr. Endo. This action stemmed from his grudge against me for having once challenged their methods of constructing the monkey mountain.
この問題を「不掲載問題」と呼ぶことにしよう。この不掲載問題は深刻な問題をいくつも抱えている。
・まず理由も示さず本人に知らせもせず不掲載にしたことである。こんなに乱暴な振る舞いがあるだろうか？ これは明らかに民主主義を否定する暴力的行為であり人権問題である。
・研究会誌への掲載は会員の権利であるから不掲載はその侵害に当たる。
・事務局長にそんなことをする権利は与えられていない。権利の濫用である。
・こども動物園は野生動物を護る動物園ではないということが、これによりますますはっきりしたことである。
Let us call this issue the “Non-Publication Problem.” This Non-Publication Problem carries several serious issues.
・First, the publication was withheld without providing any reason or notifying the author. How could such a reckless act be justified? This is clearly a violent act denying democracy and constitutes a human rights issue.
・Publication in the research journal is a member's right; non-publication constitutes a violation of that right.
・The Secretary-General has no authority to do such a thing. It is an abuse of power.
・This incident makes it even clearer that the Children's Zoo is not a zoo dedicated to conservating wild animals.
三代目会長の香川洋二氏がそうであるし（会員にたいする恫喝や責任転嫁。この悪事がバレそうになったので、研究会に顔出したのに会員に挨拶することもなく、こそこそと辞めていった。異常な辞め方である）、
四代目会長の高田浩二氏がそうであるし（恫喝や責任転嫁の香川会長を守るために真実を隠し、Zoo教研総会を扇動し、香川氏が原因で私から裁判を起こされたにもかかわらず、高田氏はその費用を香川氏ではなくZoo教研の会計から支出するようZoo教研総会を誘導した、これはZoo教研に損害を与えたことになる、など……）。
▼会長や事務局長らの指導者が率先して人権問題を起こしながら責任から徹底して逃げ回っているからである。
▼憲法で保障された言論の自由というものが存在しないからである。会員が運営委員会の了承のもとに口頭発表した内容が、その後本人に理由を告げることもなく、事務局長・日橋一昭氏の一存で研究会の会誌に不掲載にされたことである（いまだに説明を受けていない。このまま済ませるつもりなのだろうか？）。
ついでに言っておくと、三代目会長の香川氏は、この日橋氏の問題行為の責任を、嘘と脅しで私に責任転嫁しようとして私から提訴されたものである。高田氏は、香川氏のこの嘘と脅しを身をもって知っている。にもかかわらず庇うべきでない香川氏を庇ってしまい、Zoo教研の歴史に口にはできない汚点を残したのである）。
