夏休み限定で近くの学童保育をお手伝いしました。
朝９時から６時までですが、１年生から３年生まで多勢きています。
脳トレと称して勉強の時間や、昼寝やおやつ、あとは外や中の遊び等あります。その活動の中で朝の集まりがあり、毎日交代で児童にいろいろな話を保育者がします。
私も２回ほど機会があり、英語の絵本やゲームを紹介しました。また終戦記念日には戦争の本や話もする機会がありました。
この学区の学校ではALTの先生はまだ年に数回しか来ていないようで「Rock,paper ,scissors」のジャンケンはとても新鮮でした。
放課後の遊びの時は「英語でジャンケンしよう」と言ってきて子供たちの柔軟性、積極性に改めて感心しました。
同時に何人かの支援級の児童を担当することもあり、一夏でしたが、いろいろな体験ができ得るものがあったと実感しています。
I helped at day care this summer. There are many kinds (around 50) kids from 1st to 3rd grade everyday.
They have studying time,nap time and snack time.Also play time inside and outside.
In that schedule,there is a teacher special talk time.
During that time, I read aloud with English picture books and introduce the English games.
They really enjoy rock paper scissors in English and they used the game at play time.
They are really positive and flexible.I want to be like them.
Anyway I had a very tired but a great time in this summer!!
