I know, even BFF has asked why I haven't updated for a really long time. I've got a whole SD card worth of pikchers but that's another story....

The Zone 09

Reuben's friend Joey blessed us wit a pair of sold out tickets to watch Hillsong perform live.

I got up late - really late. The show starts at 7pm and doors open at 4pm. We were supposed to meet for dinner then head to MaxPavillion but I got up at somewhere like 5pm! Rushed to pick Reuben and skipped dinner only to arrive at expo slightly past 7 and they were already playing "Look to you".

The crowd was bigger than I had imagined. When we got there, the good seats in front were all taken up and we had to be seated right at the back with no leg space. We received a goodie pack at the door consisting of a sticky notepad, pen, 2 glow sticks (which I wore as bangles) in a faux leather pouch.

Surprise for the night - they performed "Hosanna", my favourite from the "I Heart" album. I was quite disappointed that they didn't play "Salvation is here".

Things wrapped up at past 10pm and we were starving. Thus, we had to resort to eating at a fast food joint at WhiteSands. Hillsong was a blast! See you again next year.

IONISED

We hit ION on their opening. The place is MAD AWESOME! Love the gorgeous/amazing/huge miu miu store and the designers we've long missed - Sonia Rykiel, Vivienne Westwood, MCM, roccobarocco (Reuben was very excited about seeing rocco. Beats me but that guy has a thing for rocco). There's also Giuseppe Zanotti with their fabulous fall collection, which creates another dilemma - to get Giuseppe or Louboutin first? I adore their shoes!

They certainly have awesome food at ION. Some fancy gelato shop right at the back of level 1, and great variety of delicatessen at the foodhall on B4. We had authentic Japanese takoyaki made by the real pros at Gindaco, and taiyaki with exotic fillings - I had bacon and cheese + german potato, Reuben had italian sausages. That guy has a thing for sausages, I don't know why. Did I say that there's Dunkin Donuts? OMG total love. No more waits for Dowager to go to Jakarta.
