I've watched so much this week. First and foremost I caught up with the latest on 'Supernatural' which has to be my favourite on-going TV show to date. The current story line is interesting and I'm looking forward to the play out despite many shocks and some slight drag. It's a brilliant way to highlight real ghost stories and myths out there and keep these legends alive. Looking forward to the next episode! Hate the waiting.
The I decided to watch 'Grimm'. As a girl brought up on Disney and personally sought out the horrible Grimm tale versions of all my favourite fairytales at a very young age, how could I resist a TV show on the very darkened tales mixed with a detective/crime spin which is one of my favoured book genres. While softer than my usual tastes, this is still a great series and I would recommend it for anyone interested.
Next was ( finally ) watching the London 'Sherlock'. Another childhood obsession. ( I did mention the detective novel interest ). This was brilliant, most brilliant short series I've had the pleasure of watching for a long time. Entertaining, clever, and some great suspense. Each character was well chosen and even with the number of alterations made for TV it just worked so well and it was so... British. I adore the movies I do but they are more action packed. Anyway, a good watch.
Wednesday, I was taken to the cinema to watch 'Sherlock Holmes 2' ( so much Sherlock (=⌒▽⌒=) ) As I said, I love these movies, never a dull moment at all and who can say no to a bit a Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law.
I think the last think I watched was 'American Horror Story'. This was an interesting one. A ghost story spaces out over 12 episodes. You'd think it would get boring but I was always eagerly awaiting the next story uncovered. One house, a long line of history and a new family. Definitely enjoyed it!
