First of all there is the small matter of my birthday. I had a really brilliant week with my family and then the weekend went better than expected with drinks, presents and lots of laughter. Josh came to stay after a long time no see and I couldn't have asked for a better weekend with him and Kitty.
We all went to TGI Friday's because where else can you get amazing cocktails and good steak dinners? We all couldn't resist trying all the wonderfully coloured drinks before the food even arrived and the evening was so comfortable like I'd never experienced before. I haven't had the best luck on my birthdays and this really was the best I've ever had. Simple yet classy. Perfect.

After food we when to a comedy club to see Imran Yusuf as well as a few others which was the only way to spend a Saturday night in my opinion.
The rest of the weekend was pretty uneventful -mostly- and I had cake for the first time in years! Awesome cake!!!
Josh and I had a little time together killing time in Starbucks and HMV before he had to go home which was nice since I see him so rarely these days.
