• Plan each day with a new note. Add tasks, events (with time) and comments to a day. • Calendar As I note in every Yearly Top Apps List, this is not a complete list of every cool app I use. It’s the highlights from the ones I use the most often. Don’t be offended if your favorite app (or the app you develop) isn’t here, but feel free to add recommendations in the comments! Create calendar events and reminders Often in our eagerness to be productive, we end up using multiple apps. We have apps for to-dos, apps to keep notes organized, and multiple calendar apps. We then try to integrate all of these different app-related activities into one tool to ensure one smooth workflow. NotePlan is a one-of-a-kind app that comes across as a readymade digital Bullet Journal. It lets you create, view, and manage tasks, notes, reminders, and events in a single, easy-to-use interface.

The companion app prompts you to reflect on your plans and notes with reminders twice a day. (You can tweak the times for these reminders to suit yourself.) It also has a Library section that lets you search your old bullet journals.
For long or rapid-fire meetings I bring my iPad, take notes fast and sloppy in Good Notes, then drag todos and notes into NotePlan later. I even started to write the markdown tags so they're already organized when I drag into NP.

NotePlan is an interesting solution that combines several productivity tools. First of all it's a calendar and task manager. NotePlan is available for Mac, iPhone and iPad (mobile apps can be found in App Store). NotePlan iOS version includes task scheduler and diary and also allows you to review upcoming events and make notes.
Backlogs, drafts, bug lists or just text notes, apart from the calendar - Some information is not related to a day and should be kept separated from the calendar. Like bug lists or project backlogs. They can be managed in NotePlan and scheduled directly into the calendar, when required. Notes can be organized by tagging them. In the overview you can filter your notes by tags.
I'm one of those people, I get why it's great in theory but in practice every thing about it puts me off, the commands all feel weird (again I understand why - I'm aware of the history), the documentation is lack luster in places, the whole thing just feels off.
