韓国での休暇

So I had a few days of relaxation and recreation in Korea I won't soon forget. 

It was arguably the best four days I've had in a long time. 

It was great to see my friends again after so long. 

Day One

I arrived at a narita Airport on time and wandered around for a while before I checked in. 

Then I boarded my plane shortly after a long bus ride to the actual tiny plane. 

 I had a seat by the window which always like.

Unfortunately, that was the only good thing about this flight. We left the gate late and missed our take off time. Thus resulted in waiting inline for 30 minutes before we could take off after taxing for 15 minutes >>

I was supposed to arrive in Incheon and 8:30, I arrived around 10:00. Not fun. Cutting my time in Korea. I was very upset. 

I needed something to me make smile. 

My friend met me at the bus stop after arriving at Seoul National university of education where I was staying. 

We went out for Chimek 치맥. Mekju and Fried Chicken. A Korean tradition of eating fried chicken and beer. The chicken was amazing. If came with seasoned fries and sweet and sour dipping sauce. Heaven on a plate. 

Day Two

I met my friends in Myeongdong and we had a shopping adventure. Went to my favourite places Etude House avs the Coffee Beane and tea leaf. 

I spent ga least an hour in Étude House, 

I will be a separate post on what I bought. 

After myeongdong, we went to Lotte World and went ice skating. What else do you do when it's boiling hot outside. Indoor skating rinks are the best. 

After this I had a birthday party to attend at a Drag Queen bar in Itaewon . It was amazing. I saw my very good friend Seeon and made some new friends. Saw the the most beautiful drag queen I had ever seen in person and drank a lot of alcohol. 

But thanks to the long day, I only stayed out until 2am and in Itaewon clubbing standards, that is early. 

Day Three

My last full day in Korea. I went to Hongdae and had something's I missed like Dunkin donuts and Taco Bell. Then I did some clothing and accessories shopping. That was fun. 

Korean fashion is very fun in a simplistic way. 

And I made friends with a Étude House shop girl from the Philiphibes who vista japan often. 

After my shopping adventure. I met Sewon and my friend Nick in the historical district of Jongno 3. It was really nice and nastalgic . We just talked for hours and had tea and coffee, once again at the Coffee Beane. Then we said our goodbyes. 

I shopped for gifts and souvinirs and went back to where I was staying. 

I spent the next three hours trying to pack. And trying not to fall asleep. I have a fear of oversleeping before flights. 

I left for  Japan the next day very sad to be leaving. Korea had been my home for many years and in a lot if ways I miss it all the time. This was my first home away from home. Where I grew up and became an adult and had many firsts. 

I hope I can back very soon. 

I love you Korea.

I have been very busy with work.

Had no time for anything else. 

This week things are slowing down. 

I will go on Vacation in Korea.
