Delicious healthy and tasty double protein pancakes. I feel guilty when I prepare pancakes for my family. I heard they are not good for you or healthy because of the white flour. So, I decided to add some ingredients that, based on what I have read, they are good for you.

 

Ingredients:

 

15 oz Pancake Mix

4 Eggs

6 oz Coconut Milk

6 oz Almond Milk

2 tbsp Chia Seeds

1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper Powder

1/2 tsp Ginger Powder

1 tsp Turmeric Powder

Brown Sugar to taste

 

Steps:

 

Add the 6 oz of Coconut milk to a container, a cup, a bowl or anything that will fit all the milk and the Chia Seeds together.

 

Add the 6 oz of Almond milk to the container where you have the Coconut milk.

 

Add the 2 tbsp of Chia Seeds inside the container with the 6 oz of Coconut milk and the 6 oz of Almond milk. Stir it up and let it sit for a few minutes to allow the Chia Seed to expand. They need to absorb the liquid where you put them in.

 

These are the Chia Seeds I usually use. I don't know to much about different brands so I always get the cheapest one. This is one of the sourse of protein.

 

Add the 15 oz of pancake mix or white flour into a bowl. I use an 8 years old stainless steel bowl have. It is my favorite because it is very easy to clean.

 

This is the pancake mix I usually use.

 

Add 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder. I read Turmeric is one of the spices most used in India. It contains Vitamin C, Vitamin B-6, Magnesium, Iron, Calcium, Potasium and more.

 

Add the 1/2 tsp of Cayenne and Ginger Powder also to the flour bowl.

 

This is after adding the Cayenne, Ginger and Turmeric powder. Now mix it.

 

Add the 4 eggs and the milk. Mix again.

 

Now I spray with Canola oil my old griddle.
