ピアノ、チェロ、ハープ。まるでクラシックの編成ですが、そこはジャンルを超えて色々な音楽にチャレンジします。タイトルは「Across Genres, Borders, and Generations」。日本語でいうと、「ジャンル、境界、世代を超えて」といったところでしょうか。ちょっと大げさですが、言うならばとにかく誰でも楽しめる音楽を！と言う気持ちを表現したいと思っています。
I'll be back at the Melody Line this October, where I played my first post-baby show, with 2 incredible musicians - a cello and piano duo "Arcou". With Mayumi Sano on the cello and Sayaka Kishi on the piano, they are a vibrant duo who play an array of original pieces. Harp, cello and piano may sound like a classical ensemble, but we will be performing pieces from many different genres.
The title of our show is "Across Genres, Borders and Generations". As the title suggests, I want this to be a concert with a very "inclusive" feel. So once again, I asked the venue to open up the concert for young audiences. Since the arrival of my little one, it has become really difficult for me to attend concerts and live shows that are not geared towards children. The content of this concert will be geared towards our grown-up audience, but babies and children will be welcome!
