吹く風の やや秋めきつ 路の端に 赤く小さき 縷紅草(ルコウソウ)咲く

昨日北関東終日曇り空なり
昼過ぎわが町の郊外をさすらふ
風はいまだ暑きがやや凌ぎ易し
路の端に丸葉の縷紅草咲きて花は風に涼やかに揺れる
It was cloudy in northern Kanto yesterday.
Yesterday afternoon I took a walk in the outskirts of my town.
The wind is still hot but it's a little more bearable.
Along the road, round-leafed cypress Vine flowers are blooming and swaying coolly in the breeze.
