ひさかたの 凌霄花(ノウゼンカズラ) 照らす陽は 秋とは云へぬ 夏のひかりぞ

昨日都内良き日和なり
昼どき歩く路を照らすひさかたの陽は明るし
小さきビルを囲ふフェンスに凌霄花の這ひたり
宙に伸びたる蔓に咲く花を照らす陽はいまだ夏の陽なりけり
It was a nice day in Tokyo yesterday.
The sun illuminating the path I walked along during the day was bright.
Chinese trumpet vine was creeping on the fence around a small building.
The sun still has the intensity of summer, shining on the flowers blooming on the vines stretching into the air.
