Wow.....It has been 5 years since my last blog. It is funny to read my thoughts.
Well, I have something to say to myself 5 years ago.
Dear Dong :
I am 26 years old you. Your had done a great job and had achieved so much in 5 years, It is truly remarkable and I am really proud of you, so do your mom and dad.
You will successfully graduated from dental hygiene school, pass the board exam and become a registered dental hygienist in the state of New York in Nov, 2021. BTW, your wife will be pregnant and you will be a father in age 23. Yep, surprise!
Your son, Louie. the cutest boy in the world, will born in Jan,18th 2022 in CVPH at Plattsburgh, NY, where you will live for at least 3 years becasue I am still here to date.
You will practice at High Peaks Dental, the one and only. Here, You will meet two best doctors who will give you tremendous help to your path to become a dentist- yep, as you might be expected, you, who always seek for higher goals, will not be satisfied as a hyginist.
In 2022, fall, You will start to attend SUNY Plattsburgh and you will embrace the tougehst challegnes yet- how to balance between work, school and family- remember, you will be a father of a new born. BTW, Kaiju is the most supportive woman ever so don't treat her right, because she will be your future wife.
Dong, you will conquer them piece by piece, and graduate in Dec, 2024. - you will earn your Bacholor in Biomedical Science. You will get cheers from the world. At the same time, Your son Louie, Will turn 3. Making sure you don't introduce him the ultraman, I know it is your childhood favorite but, he will just get crazy into it, just like you.
If you made it here, I don't know how will you feel. I know it is hard to believe. But remember, life is a journey without a map, so we are free. You will enourge critical life decisions and each of them will decide your future. listen, once you make your decision, don't turn your head, don't ever regret for anything, always look forward and live at the moment. Because what you will go through is what I will never be able to experience again, and what I miss the most. Life is not about chasing perfection, but to experience. So keep your heads up, my fearless boy, making your life as memorable as it could be.

To myself 5 years later:
I am preparing for the DAT test and I am really nervous because I did not do well on readings and perceptul test. I am also very excited to apply for the dental schools, all those big names make me heartbeat goes up. Harvard, colombia, baffalo, tufts, NYU.... where am I gonna end up with? the uncertainty of the future just make me sleepless at night- a goodway. I have worked so hard for this moment- moment when I get accepted to a dental school. So tell me: where do you end up going? Did you get the military scholarship? how is louie boy? and how is the marriage life? I cannot wait to hear..
