About 2 weeks ago, I took Charlotte and Queenie to a dog show at Lake Yamanakako.
I entered Charlotte, and Queenie just came along for the ride 
Normally when we take the dogs in the car they don't need cages, but because it was going to be almost a 3 hour drive, and I didn't what Queenie to mess up Charlotte's just shampooed clean coat, they each got their personal cage for the day ;)

Any way, so when we got to the dog show , I was happy to find my Kooikerhondje owner friends with their Kooikerhondje "Saneri"
Saneri was also entering in the show that day!
Saneri's owners were very kind and ask me to join them in their tent to get ready for the show.
At dog shows people bring tents and chairs and even special changing tents to get dressed for the show :)
Of course I don't have anything fancy like that yet, so it was nice getting to share with Saneri's owners!

Kooikerhondjes are very easy to groom, and the only trimming you do is for the whiskers.
And now about the showing!
We were the only Girl Kookerhondje entry, so with no competition we got Bet Of Breed!!!

So, after we get Best of Breed, comes the group judging.
Here we compete with all the Group 8 (RETRIEVERS - FLUSHING DOGS - WATER DOGS) Best of Breed Dogs. 
Have to admit Charlotte did not do her BEST, ( I think she was starting to get a little board of showing off:) ) so we didn't ent up in the top 3.
But we still got titled "Exlent in Group" 
And got our first Champion Challenge Certificate (^O^)/ ( You need 4 cards to become a champion)
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
We also entered in another all breed show, and got Best of Breed, but nothing in the group competition. Too bad 
Oh, and are Kooikerhondje friend Saneri, was sadly disqualified because he nipped at the judge

Doberman puppy "Basla" . His owner is Charlotte's grandfather owner too.
She is a very good handler and Basla got Reserved Puppy KING!!!!!!
We also met Queenies Aunt "Stella"
She is an amazing show dog and she got Best in Group!!!!!
