淀城は
京阪電車の淀駅(京都競馬場)の近くにあり、石垣と堀の一部が残っています #淀城 #京都
敷地内は神社と公園になっています。
郡山城と淀城の本丸跡は形が同じ形です。天守が、大和郡山城、二条城、淀城と移されたといわれています。
羽柴秀長の時代の大和郡山城だったのではないか！？と考えられています。
戦国武将である筒井順慶が、当初は筒井城その後郡山城を居城としています。筒井順慶は幾度も松永久秀と戦をしています。
明智光秀を洞ヶ峠(スピード違反取り締まりに注意⚠)で日和見をしました。
また、淀城は江戸時代に徳川秀忠の命により松平定綱が築いた城です。

大和国唯一の大名家の居城であり、穴蔵式の天守台、石垣、水堀がよく残っています。
余談ですが、春日局の家系は後に幕府の老中職についていますが、若年寄の稲葉正休は大老の堀田正俊を殺し滅多刺しにされ、最後の老中の稲葉正邦(山城・淀藩)に至っては、鳥羽伏見の戦いで淀城に敗走してくる幕府軍に対して城門を閉めるという事をしました😭。
