On February 21st in Akita, a female police officer didn't drive a patrol car but turned on the engine inside a police box so the patrol car started without a driver nor any people
The patrol car rolled across the roads and crashed into a private house
Luckily nobody was injured in the accident.
But the front door of the private house was broken by the patrol car

I felt nobody was injured in this accident but this accident could have been really dangerous

Even if a driver drives carefully, a car accident could happen
Sometimes cars will can be dangerous weapons.
We must take more care with cars.
Especially thd police officers have to protect people.

On February 22nd, Shiho Sakai who is a high school student (grade 12) won a short course world record
She hit a new high in girls' one hundred meter backstroke
Her record was fifty six seconds fifteen milliseconds!
It was faster than Natalie Coughlin's record which was fifty six seconds fifty one milliseconds.

She said "I said I aimed to win but I was amazed. I'm very happy because it was my dream since I was a child."

I respect her for achieving her dream still she is only eighteen.
I should do my best like her★

Yesterday I baked buns wiz my mother and brother.
It was our first time to bake buns so we made them carefully
We had to knead the dough more than two hundreds times so we were tired
It was most difficult work!
I like bean-jam buns so I put bean pastes in my buns
My brother likes chocolate buns and cheese buns so he puted some chocolates and cheese in his buns
My mother made raisin buns and butter rolls

Considering we have no experience,we could bake buns well.
The bean-jam buns which I made was yummy♪

But the butter rolls were a little bit tasteless so next time we should put more sugar in the butter rolls!

Throught this work, I could know how to bake the buns and how difficult it is to bake buns!

I watched a TV program which was about baking before.
The baker needed much strength because the dough was really heavy.
And if the baker made a little mistakes,it could not be sold.
Like this,to bake the buns is not easy.
But maybe baking is satisfying too!
