I had a super fun day and it's been one of the happiest I've had in a while since my boyfriend broke up with me last month
I went to my friend Esmeralda's graduation party at an AirBnB and my friend Zoeie and some of my other classmates were there. We did karaoke half the night and I brought Krispy Kreme donuts
I also met up with my friend Cynthia today to walk around the mall and she surprised me with a frog Giga Pet!
It's my first one I've ever had in my life since I was a bit too young to experience them in my childhood, so I'm excited to try it and see what I think!

On another recent exciting note, I met up with a girl named Chey from a gay dating app and omg I'm crushing so hard. She has the most beautiful brunette curly hair, a beautiful smile and ugh the CUTE GLASSESSS
While I'm unfortunately not super ready for a serious relationship, I had a great time getting to know her yesterday.
We went to a bookstore called Radical Cat, spent time yapping, and we walked around town together and she showed me a nearby thrift store which was really cool! She even offered to buy me a drink and gelato
Today, she texted me, "I feel like I didn't say it direct enough when we hung out, but you are super cute!" AAAAAAA I'M COMBUSTING WITH GAY PANIC AND HAPPINESS When I told her that I was dying of said gay panic and thanked her, she then replied back "oh you're very welcome😉"

I think this in particular makes me really happy because my f*cka$$ manchild ex boyfriend NEVER and I mean NEVER gave me words of affirmation or many compliments which honestly got to me more than I expected. 
It certainly is a wake-up call that in my future relationships, I need to see that as the red flag it is. I don't think it's that he WASN'T attracted to me, but it definitely showed that he is deficient at making your partner feel pretty
I think in the future, I need words of affirmation IMMENSELY and someone that will be loving, nurturing and TRANSPARENT and so far Chey seems to fit the bill (even in just a platonic sense since I'm not sure where this homoerotic friendship thing is going. Obviously she seems at least a bit interested in me romantically judging by the flirty text, so I'm definitely opening to exploring that avenue and taking things slowly!
