WindowsからLinuxへの移行 その2

クライアントのOSとしてはCentOSは使い勝手が
悪いような気がしましたので、本日ubuntuを
インストールしました。初ubuntuです。

バージョンは10.0.4。
普通にインストールが完了。

Firefoxのお気に入りを移動させるためにsshで
接続できるようにしてみる。

　変更箇所
　PermitRootLogin をYesからNoに変更

これで、sshが起動して他のPCからsshで接続できるように
なりました。

いまは、Firefoxのお気に入りを移行したところです。

今日はubuntuを勉強します♪

WindowsからLinuxへの移行 その1

■WindowsからLinuxへの移行

うちのwindows端末の調子が非常に悪いので、
いっそのことLinuxに替えてしまいます。

今のところ終了したこと
・GNOMEのインストール
・Firefoxにお気に入りを移行
　→いまのwindows端末のお気に入りをLinuxにインポートする。
・wineのインストール
　参考web
　http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/page/Installation:Fedora
　→IE6を入れたのですが、非常に動作が遅いので使うことはあきらめました。。。
・adobe flash playerのインストール
　→youtubeが見れるようになりました。


今後、徐々に移行を進めていきます。
