Had a couple from Singapore come over and took them on a 3 day trip around the southern part of Hokkaido. we did E-san & Komaga-dake and visited lake Toya and stayed at two very different onsens.

Uryunuma Wetland Trip: June 2012

14 members of H.I.O.C did a trip to Uryunuma wetlands on the weekend of June 30th - July 1st of 2012.

Where we stayed the night and had a BBQ party. some members camped out and some stayed in the hiking lodge.
The next we broke in 3 groups. The first group left at 4.30 am to do the 9 hour hike to the peak of Mt Shokanbetsu. The 2nd group left at 8 am to do the 6 our hike to Mt Minami Shokanbetsu. The 3rd group left at 9.30 am to do the hike just to Uryunuma wetland.

It was a great weekend and everyone had a great time.

Fishing Trip & Camp: June 23-24 2012

Leon & Rick from H.I.O.C did fishing trip round the Iburi coastline on the east coast of Hokkaido.
We had a great time a caught a lot of fish.
