Sabang International Regatta 2011 – International sailboat Event, In this event Aceh to hostinternational sailboats competing in the event of Sabang International Regatta 2011.This event Sabang International Regatta 2011 held in cooperation between the Ministryof Culture and Tourism Republic of Indonesia and the Government of Aceh, and Sabang CityGovernment, and is fully supported by the Screen All-Indonesia Association of Sport (Porlasi)and the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club, the club display in the neighboring country , Malaysia.Event sailboat race will be held from 13 to 25 September 2011. Sabang International Regatta 2011is the yachts race which will be followed sailor from Australia, the United States, Britain, Germany,Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Indonesia. Participants will begin sailing fromPhuket, Thailand, to Langkawi, Malaysia, using sailing ships. From Langkawi, they will sail to Sabang.The sailor who followed the race Sabang International Regatta 2011 is derived from different countrieswill come to Sabang (Pulau Weh), Aceh Province, in order to Sabang International Regatta (SIR) 2011.
Sabang International Regatta 2011 was held to put Aceh in the map of world tourism destinationafter being destroyed by the tsunami that struck in 2004.
