Economy5 Sure enough, are the Olympic Games good for the economy of a host city? If a conclusion is said first, the reason which I consider that an Olympics host city goes wrong economically will be as follows. (1)  Because the process of the Olympics bidding is captured by the profits of the persons concerned (2)  Because construction of an infrastructure or Olympics related facilities becomes excessive (3)  Because there is very little data that the Olympic Games grew up the tourist industry

Although the Olympic Games are surrounded by many "lies", big "lie" also in it is about the relevance of the Olympic Games and economy. Between about two weeks which the Olympic Games are holding, the economy of a host country can receive a big benefit by the investment in the tourist industry, a dream machine, and an infrastructure enterprise, etc. However, is this true? Could the host country really get profits from holding of the Olympic Games? An answer is "not expecting, although based on a case." There may be quite a few cities which possibly experienced long-term economic earnings from the Olympic Games, such as Barcelona. However, it turns out that it is difficult to check the economic earnings obtained from Olympics holding by scientific research. Even if it acts rationally, it wins straight victories in competition, without the city which wishes holding of the Olympic Games carrying out injustice etc. and it gains holding of the Olympic Games, it is only that the winner gains profit-and-loss zero and slight profits. However, we do not have injustice and are not alive in the world where all human beings related to the Olympic Games act rationally. In fact, an Olympics host city is caught by the profits of a specific individual and a company, and tends to fall into the situation of straining oneself with financial aspects.
