幅30㎝弱の台形平皿。互い違いに2枚合わせれば四角い皿にもなります。マットな白と燻しゴールドの2色を作りました。同じ形、サイズの皿ですが、色が変わると雰囲気もかなり変わってみえます。
▲白皿には透明感のある琥珀糖を合わせてみました。皿の下地に 干菓子と同じ黄色い柄の和紙を敷くと景色が引き締まります。黄色と白の組み合わせは曖昧でぼやけた感じになりやすいので、渋めの茶色の和紙を重ねてみました。
▲少し燻んだゴールドのお皿には秋らしい紫色の干菓子(和三盆糖)を合わせてみました。皿の下地に 干菓子と同じ紫の菊花模様の和紙を敷くと纏まりが良くなり､引き締まります。菓子に載せた金箔とお皿の色もリンクして華やかな雰囲気になりました。
ほんの少し手間をかけスタイリングするだけでワクワクする時間を過ごせそうです🎶

A trapezoidal flat dish a little over 20 cm wide. Two alternating pieces can be combined to form a square plate. I made two colors: matte white and smoked gold. Although the plates are the same shape and size, the atmosphere looks quite different when the color is changed.
I matched the white plate with transparent yellow and gray sweets. The dish will look more cohesive if the base of the plate is covered with Japanese paper with the same yellow pattern as the dried confectionery. The combination of yellow and white tends to be vague and blurred, so I layered a subdued brown Japanese paper.
The slightly smoky gold plate is matched with autumnal purple dried sweets (wasanbon sugar). Place a piece of washi paper with the same purple chrysanthemum pattern as the dried confectionery under the plate to make it look more cohesive and tighter. The gold leaf on the confectionery and the color of the plate also link to create a gorgeous atmosphere.
Just a little bit of effort and styling is all it takes to make it an exciting time🎶
