Only 4hours drive from Frankfurt, you will arrive to popular village of Interlaken, where is the base of travel towards mountain areas. Train in Swiss is very expensive, and if you are coming by car, I recommend to drive further to Grindelwad, wheere you have more further access to the top of the mountain.
