On May 24th, at the opening show of Shanghai Fashion Customization Week, designers from Shanghai, Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao presented a perfect fusion of fashion and culture to the audience with a visual feast.

Designers from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Hangzhou Bay Area showcased new aesthetic features influenced by their own cultures. While driving economic development, they are also committed to integrating fashion, culture, heritage, and innovation to create a new trend of a better life. These designers are not only inheritors of clothing culture but also pioneers of innovation. Their works combine practicality and artistic value, satisfying people’s pursuit of high-quality living.

Last year, the “Shanghai-Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao — Oriental Lifestyle Aesthetic Fashion Industry Ecological Circle” formed an alliance in Shanghai, marking the first collaboration among the fashion industry ecologies of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. This initiative not only provides a new platform and opportunities for the international development of the fashion industry but also promotes the common and inclusive design language of the two major fashion bay areas.

Tang Minyi, President of the Guangdong Fashion Culture Promotion Association, said that the designer teams participating in the haute couture joint show demonstrated not only a profound understanding of traditional culture through their works but also perfectly integrated it with modern aesthetics, creating distinctive haute couture fashion. This event is not just a fashion feast but also a cultural celebration.

Tang Minyi remarked, “Shanghai Fashion Customization Week is an important platform for promoting the development of the fashion industry. It provides an excellent stage for global new product launches. I sincerely appreciate the efforts of the Shanghai International Fashion Federation and all partners. This event not only promotes the common and inclusive design language of the two major fashion bay areas but also injects new vitality into the development of the global fashion industry.”
