I am home!
Although in this tournament, I wasn't the starting 11 for the games like I was in the All China Qualifying games. I am still very happy and I believe I have learned a lot.
Most importantly, my dream came true!
2 years ago, the 6th Asia Cup was held in Hong Kong. I watched the game Japan Vs China and the Japan Vs Korea.
It was 2 years ago, when I first fell in love with the Japanese Ladies Hockey team and they inspired me to play better hockey. It was also the time when I started to play as defender- I was a forward, and then a mid-fielder, but after I saw Miura-san's performance, I have decided that if I am going to play as defender, I want to be as good as her.
I know I cannot play for the Japan team, so I dream about playing against Japan in a tournament and being able to stand on the same pitch as players like Miura-san.
And now, 2 years later, in the 7th Asia Cup, my dream came true! I managed to work hard enough to be selected to be part of the Hong Kong team and play (even for a very short amount of time) on the pitch with the Japan team! Until now, I cannot believe that I had the chance of marking some players like Kamazawa Rika or Iwao Sachimi!
okay, I need to sleep now, got to go to work tomorrow!
(p.s. I know I said I will try to write this blog in Japanese........ maybe later... )
