Before you apply
- Discipline match: the notice lists exact degree branches accepted
- Minimum marks: often 60 or 65 percent, with relaxation for some categories
- Qualifying exam: GATE paper code, company test, or interview only
- Age on the cut-off date, and the maximum allowed for your category
- Service bond: some companies ask freshers to sign a bond for one to three years
