Elevator Spare Parts design and rating functions are used to carry passengers. Murphy Elevator can be designed for all kinds of speed and size of passenger lifts. The largest passenger lifts have a capacity of 10,000 pounds, although most are between 2500 and 5000 pounds. Some are specially designed to accommodate stretchers such as hospital applications. They can be hydraulic or traction. They can also be a machine room, which is essentially a special type of traction elevator. Read more in the MRL section below.
Freight lift is heavy goods, designed to transport materials. The freight elevator has a vertically open cargo door. Many older freight elevators have manually opened doors. These types of elevators can be lifted more than 20,000 pounds in special applications. Murphy has over 70 years of experience in building freight elevators. We know that these large lifts must do the work and can be customized according to the type of building you have and the load that you must carry. We can design freight elevators to meet the needs of any size and size required for your building.
Service elevators are often mistaken for freight elevators. The service elevator is actually an ordinary passenger elevator with a common cab and floor, usually an "employee only" of a commercial building. The most common example is the use of the hotel's domestic service elevator. You can always tell the service lifts and freight elevators because the freight elevators will have a vertically open "double separation" door while the service elevator will have a normal sliding door. In very rare cases, service elevators can be classified and evaluated for cargo loading, but this is not a rule.
Most MRL elevators are actually traction passenger lifts. They use the small machines and motors at the top of the elevator shaft to move the cables. By eliminating the need for most of the elevator rooms, you can achieve greater efficiency in space planning. Due to its compact nature, MRL elevators must be used for 20-story and 5000-lb applications. Or less. MRL elevators can also be divided into passengers or freight elevators, but almost always passengers.
Residential elevators are designed for singleton homes. If the elevator serves multiple residences, or if it is installed in any other type of building, it must be a commercial lift.. Residential elevators typically have a capacity of 500 or 750 pounds.
