Nice to send art about the first recorded economic bubble called tulipmania back to where it all started over 370 years ago 😜 🌷🌷🌷 Soho House Amsterdam in the Bungehuis on the Spuistraat. The ‘Bungehuis’ was built in the 1930s originally as a Trading Office, as of the 70s it has served as a university building. The six-story ‘National’ monument is characterized by numerous expressive details. For example, the front and rear of the property are covered with slabs of limestone and granite, and the entrance is flanked by art deco sculptures. The ten window axes that feature on the front and the rear of the property include bays with bronze framed windows. The interior includes special features through the use of chrome, brass, milk glass and tropical timber as well as glazed tiles of the ‘Porceleyne Fles’ in Delft. 🌷🌷🌷 #gordoncheung #sohohouseamsterdam #tulipmania #sohohouseart #glitch #glitchart #Bungehuis A post shared by Gordon Cheung 👊🔥👊🔥👊🔥👊🔥👊🔥👊🔥👊 (@gordoncheung) on Aug 1, 2018 at 2:28am PDT
