Weekend

Yesterday was July 4!
I saw fireworks with Derek!!
I love fireworks but he hates that sounds.

Last night, we saw the movie "Seven Samurai" which is one of his favorites.
It has clear thesis and exciting action scenes, so I enjoyed it.
Each Samurai has unique characteristic and it also makes the film more interesting.
I love it!!!

Today, we were just hanging out.
He fell asleep on me when we were talking in the bed.
So I took his photo secretly.

Salmon and Something

I made dinner for Derek on Sunday.
It's called "Salmon and Something...".
I named it right now.
I learned this from my neighbor Big Al.
When he showed me how to cook, he used his BBQ grill but I don't have it.
So this time I used my regular oven.



How does it look?
It was very good, I think.
Derek liked it, too!

We started looking for a new apartment yesterday.
We are going to live together soon.

"Iron Man" Again

Today is Saturday so I went to the movie theatre with Derek to watch Iron Man again.
At the first time, we missed the extra scene at the end of credits.
Today, we saw it and it was incredible!!
I love Iron Man!!!
It is the best movie in this year so far.

Next week we are going to watch fireworks on July 4 and after the next, we have BB King's concert and Derek's friend's stage.
After that, probably Bat Man will come out.
We will be busy.

Dog Party

Today is Nosha's 2-year old birthday.
Nosha is our neighbor's doggy.
Me, Derek, and my puppy Chiffon joined the party.
Food was good and the weather was good, too; I had a lot of fun.

This morning, Derek and I played a piano and a guitar together.
It was like a session.
We love music, and it is one of our common hobby.
I remember that when I first met Derek, we played a piano together at our neighbor's house.
I was already interested in him, but his piano made me want to know about him better.
I think the music put us together.

"Hulk"

Last Friday, I went to ArcLight Hollywood with Derek to watch "Hulk".
I came in to the dome theatre and it was my first experience.
The director of the movie and an actor showed up to the stage before the movie started.
It was exciting.
The movie itself is also exciting.
I've never read the comic books of Hulk before, but I enjoyed it very much.
Derek said there are a lot of hints of the comic books and TV show in the movie.
I realized just 2 of them.
Derek showed me all of hints in the movie on Sunday and I thought it was an interesting idea.
The movie made me want to watch Hulk, which is TV show version.

I'm Busy!

Derek started writing journal.
I really want to read it but he doesn't let me do it.
Is he shy?
I'll show this diary to him in a year from now.
What would he say?
I don't know.
Anyway this is our true life.

I'm busy these days because I have a class now.
But I'll try to keep writing something here.

Yesterday

Me and Derek, we argued yesterday.
I didn’t meet him yesterday a whole day, because he said he wants to be alone and think about our relationship himself.
Today, I went to his apartment and talked with him about our problem.
I think we solved it.
He said that he missed me so much like I missed him.
I realized that I love him; I need him.
There is a Japanese saying, “The earth becomes stronger after the rain.”
I believe that our relationship became stronger by solving this problem.

Moving

Last night, I was talking with Derek at his apartment.

And we fell asleep...

We woke up at midnight and went back to my apartment.

Our apartments are really close but I want to be closer to him.

Now we are planning to move to 2-bedroom apartment.

I want to live with him.

Movies, BB King, and LAX

Last night, Derek told me that we have 2 events this week.
A first one is an advance screening on Thursday; the second is Hulk on Friday.
We are going to catch 2 movies this week.
And also he said that we are going to go to BB King’s concert on July 11.
He really loves BB King and he always tells me how amazing BB King is.
I’m looking forward to all of them.

Today, I went to LAX with him because he had to go back to work to reprogram the computer.
It was so fun; I love airplanes.
I took a couple of photos.
They are the control tower and a runway.

First Kiss

On Valentine's Day, I got chocolate and a teddy bear for Derek.
At that time, we were already dating but I didn’t know his mind.
So I hadn’t decided to go to his apartment or not yet, although I got the gift.
I think I was insecure.
But I saw his room’s light on when I got my apartment.
Usually his living room is dark but on that day I knew that he was at home.
It pushed me.
I went to his apartment and I gave the gift to him.
And he said, “Can I have a hug?”
I said of course yes, but I was so surprised.
After that we watched the movie at his apartment.
I don’t remember that movie at all because I was so nervous.
I was almost frozen.
When I left his apartment, he gave me a hug again and asked, “Can I have a kiss?”
It was our first kiss.
I never forget it.
I had a really happy evening.
Now his teddy bear is in his living room.
