Diabetes has become one of the major concerns for the nation. This disease has been spreading and also is found in many people across the globe. So one must maintain the diet and take proper precautions to be safe from this disease. Diabetes is major of two types namely type 1 and type 2 diabetes. In both diseases, the blood sugar level is imbalanced and thus this leads to this disease. So to save yourself from this disease there are certain food for diabetics that should be consumed and should be taken into consideration thereby maintaining the health and safety standards of living. 1.       Fatty fish: Fishes are a rich source of fat and it is considered that the person having diabetes should consume fishes as this prevents the person from getting heart attacks and failures. Several varieties of fish have good fats, which maintain balance in the body thereby giving energy to the body and maintaining the sugar levels of the body.

2.       Green leafy vegetables: Leafy vegetables are rich in nutrients and carry the least amount of calories. So it is recommended that people having diabetes should have a lot of green vegetables. This is not only low in calorie count but also helps in maintaining the metabolism of the body and thus you feel healthy and fresh. These vegetables can be rich in vitamin c content and thus people having diabetes should consume food with rich vitamins and minerals. 3.       Avocados: While we talk about fruits, several fruits can be consumed, and also fruits are considered to be good for a diet. But it is important to note that the diabetic patient cannot consume sugars easily and every sugar needs to be counted. 5.       Nuts: In every diet, it is recommended that one should consume the proper amount of nuts with the calorie and the energy count. This is highly recommended for diabetic patients as the person having diabetes should maintain a proper diet to remain healthy. As there has been no cure for diabetes the only way to fight the disease to take preventions and go accordingly. So nuts contain a maximum of energy with very few fats and calories. Also, there is a lot of fiber in the nuts which also helps the body and maintains the body minerals. So this should be one of the major foods for diabetics people to be safe and maintain the sugar level of the body to remain healthy and fit.
