In the second installment of"Imlie" by Vikas Swarup, the narrative picks up right where the first left with all our protagonist-Rangoli Javeda seeking to free Imlie from the clutches of her employer, Dr. Salim Ali. Salim and Javeda are both from exactly the same town of Imlie, Pakistan, and at the second person perspective, Swarup has written an engaging book that attracts its characters and their conflicts very close to home for the reader. The story has been told in first person by the Imlie Welder's viewpoint because she links the events of her daily life into the reader. Though a lot of this novel is written in first person, the reader is allowed to glance in to Salim along with Javeda's perspectives through subplots that happen through the entire storyline.

In a effort to maintain his ownership of this house, Imlie compels Javeda to provide up all rights to your property, but she secretly slips him a letter which reads:"Your Excellency will have to perish to get your freedom."
A short while after, Salim gets a telephone from Javeda requesting him to meet her at a coffeeshop at the evening. Once they arrive, Salim notices that the coffee shop is still closed. Imlie was locked inside and looking forward to her. Salim will not understand what to utilize the head to have a look at the coffeeshop to see whether there were any suspicious activities that would have resulted in the establishment to become shut. An armed robber enters and wants Imlie, at which time she runs off yelling because she's covered in spider's webs.

The man who predicted him'd told him he had been going to pick up some documents for a job at the bank and asked him to meet him the following day. Salim assumes that the man is linked to his late husband, therefore he fails to inform her encounter until he receives his next paycheck.
Coming to the financial institution, the man notices Salim's car and heads to it. Salim does not notice the amount from the backseat and walks toward the guy and opens the back. Indoors, the man finds a packed luggage and realizes it contains money estimated at almost a thousand pounds. Instantly he throws the bag into the back seat of the car and drives away, while Salim races after him.
