Hello everyone! I want to thank my student Y.S. If not for her, I still wouldn't have gotten on my blog and writing something NOW. So...thank you, Y.S. Now you have to write a diary. (‐^▽^‐)
AGAIN A...N...D... again, I said I've been too busy. This time is not an excuse, it's so true! I HAVE been so busy but I should keep on updating my Ameba Blog. I do apologize to you all. But just to prove my point-It's 1:40am in the tomorrow, I'm still correct nursing college's test. Need to finish them by Friday.

It's COOOOLLLLDDD every single day and I am trying to bear this as much as I can. But when you're teaching under a unheated room at JHS! Try to stay warm, everyone! And DON'T catch a cold OR the flu!!!Take care!!

Hello all!

I've been so busy. Hmm....maybe excuse. But I just haven't got to updating my
blog yet. Gosh, when was the last time I wrote on my blog. I have no idea. :-(
Well, since September, Hilltop got a new teacher, Joe Tolsma. Still learning but he's progressing very well.
What else......Hilltop had a Halloween party for the kids. Over 60 people came to
the party. Thanks to all the staff members, the party went smoothly and well.
Lastly, helping and coaching some junior high school students in Anjo, I'm very
proud that one of my students at Anjo Meisho Junior High School, Saki Kamimoto was
chosen as one of the winners in the Nishi-Mikawa Speech Contest, after she was
chosen as one of the 4 finalist in the Anjo City Speech Contest to represent Anjo
City for the Nishi-Mikawa Speech Contest. Great job, Saki!! I'm very proud of you!!
Gosh, lots have happened, I don't where to start. 2010 is almost over and I can't
believe 2011 is just around the corner. Erika is working hard at Yobikou and
Kumon and enjoying school as well. Yuko, as always, is being a wonderful mom and
wife for Erika and I.
Hope to catch up with everyone before the end of the year. Take care!
Good evening all! Well, it's actually 1:00am in the MORNING. ヾ(@°▽°@)ノ
Having my nightly gin and tonic. The Tanqueray No.10 IS the BEST gin. It's a
bit pricy but it's well worth it.
Boy, do I need this 5-day vacation. Not going anywhere specially, but just want to RELAX!!! I will go back to my ALT job in Anjo's 3 JHSs. Looking forward to
that, but I want to make the best of the 3 weeks I have left.

Typhoon season is finally here. Glad to know the weather is cooler; BUT it's been quite hot. So keep yourself cool till fall officially arrives.

I hope everyone will enjoy the Obon holidays.

Take care,

George

I started this blog page instead of writing in the HILLTOP homepage because I can write my blog anytime, anywhere and with any pc while online. And also, you can leave comments if you like, in Japanese or in English. !!グッド!

It's been a week since I got off working at JHS. Feels great to have a bit more free time. But I got a lot of work to do for HILLTOP. I'll need to get all that done by the end of August.

The new teacher, Joe Tolsma, will come on August 23rd and he will be training with Anita for the whole month of September. I hope all of you students will get to know him well. I believe I chose a good teacher. Anita is hard to replace but I guess we all have to move on.

I'm very proud of our daughter, Erika, who passed the pre-2nd (準2級英検) English proficiency Exam, both the 1st and 2nd test, which is the interview. She won't touch eiken for a while. 音譜ニコニコ

It's only 8am but it's already hot hot hot!!! I feel like I need to take 3 showers a day. I hope you all are keeping yourselves cool.

Have a great Sunday!

George
