Key learnings from Katori Shintoryu which is an origin of Japanese martial arts

The founder was invited to Kyoto by 8th Ashikaga Shugun, Mr Yoshimasa Ashikaga, as a sword master around the year of 1450.

The founder together with his tree followers encountered renovation of a big inn on their way to Kyoto. The founder asked his followers to walk through the edge of the opposite side in order for them to escape an accident. There were a big applaud behind them, when they had passed the place. A worrier beautifully escaped from a big log falling from the roof. People who saw it gave him a big hand.

The founder said to his followers, "A smart guy predicts such a danger and escape from it". There are not so many famous sword event which involved the founder and his descendants, unlike Mr Musashi Miyamaoto, Mr Jubei Yagyu, etc. It is a good evidence that his descendants have lived peacefully as a human being with nature by preventing danger in advance according to what the founder taught.
