3 Hot Route Master route combos that can be used in numerous formations to beat most coverages
1. Same side Post/HB Streak
On this play you have the ability to beat man coverage (Zig, HB Streak, Post) while also attacking zone in both the middle & the flats. Would quickly identify if Man/Zan by checking the Zig/Out, then look at the HB Streak & Post both attacking the middle. The B WR is a Clearout (not necessarily needed either).
2. Spread C Route
This won't do great vs Man Coverage, but vs a lot of Zone people aren't expecting the deep sideline to get hit by the OUTSIDE WR. Usually it'd be a Corner Route coming from a slot. Main goal here is to get the C Route open, but the Zig underneath is a nice option along with the backside In Route.
3. Angle/Post
Bit of a barber route combo, but it's really good. HB Angle Route and a compressed slot WR post route meshing over the middle. Forces defense to have to use a lot of resources in the middle to defend it. Zig is a nice check down & forces an underneath flat zone.
There's obviously a ton more things you can do, and these aren't even the best possible things you can do.
