House of the Dragon is still quite a few years off, but here's what we know so far about the prequel of game of thrones online which lead by Targaryen. Initially, they revealed a number of Game of Thrones prequels. Now, the number is narrowed down to the Dragon's only Targaryen-lead Family. Little is known about the show, but development has already begun – although the coronavirus pandemic is currently on hold. And though there is no telling when work on the Game of Thrones prequel will start again, we are all very excited about the few specifics that we do.

The dragon-sized elephant in the house, however, this is the first game of thrones online. The Game of Thrones prequel series originally expected to star Naomi Watts was cancelled late last year and replaced immediately by a new show taking place 300 years before Game of Thrones events. We are going to go into more depth later on that. House of the Dragon is the "number one priority" when it comes to a new Game of Thrones season, according to HBO programming president Casey Bloys. So here's what we do about the upcoming series.
Do not expect House of the Dragon to hit our screens for at least another couple of years with everything going on. Before the pandemic threatened to postpone production, HBO's Casey Bloys speculated that it would release "perhaps in 2022," adding that the script was already in the making. But because lockdowns around the world pose major obstacles to development, there is a good chance it will release later than that.
There are some good news of game of thrones online about the Dragon House development. Recently it was reported that casting was underway at HBO, likely for the Targaryen lead roles. The actual actors and roles have not yet been announced but it may be a indication that HBO expects fairly soon to film the pilot episode.
Not that it's a direct parallel, just for the sake of comparison: the concept was first developed in 2006 for a Game of Thrones TV series, and production began in 2007. The game of thrones online pilot episode made its debut in 2011, about four years later. Having that timeframe in mind, seeing House of the Dragons release around the 2024 mark wouldn't be without precedent. That's 100 percent hope, but, again, and with any luck, we'll be watching the prequel to the Game of Thrones sometime before this time.
No news on the casting of the Dragon House has yet been announced. We know there will be plenty of Targaryens, as well as representatives of other houses within Westeros and probably Essos, so we can only fantasize as to who will fill those shoes.
The book House of the Dragon is based on, named Fire and Blood, featuring a lineup of Targaryen rulers from Aegon I to his sons, Aenys I and Maegor I, all the way up to Aegon III. We expect plenty of silver-haired dragon riders to take the reign as casting information open in the near future (presumably). In January HBO formally announced that the prequel Game of Thrones starring House Targaryen will be renamed House of the Dragon.
