I'm gonna talk about the pet situation in Canada and compare with the Japanese situation.
今日は日本とカナダのペット事情について話していこうと思います。
In the first place, many families in Canada have dogs as well as in Japan. But the obvious difference is that Canada has only large dogs and few small dogs.
カナダでも日本と同様に犬を飼っている家庭が多いです。ですが明らかに違うのはカナダは大型犬ばかりで小型犬はほぼ見かけません。

On the other hand, Japan has dogs of various sizes, large, medium and small, but it seems that there are many small dogs. And I guess this has a lot to do with the housing situation and whether it is a pet-friendly environment.
それに対して日本は大中小さまざまな犬を飼っていますが、やはり小型犬が多いようです。これは住宅事情とペットに優しい環境かどうかが大きく関係していると思います。
As you know, Canada has a large land area and each family has a large garden. Also, there are many dock parks, and you can take them to supermarkets and restaurants. In addition, Canada is a country that values animals because it is properly stipulated by law regarding animal breeding on the condition that it is raised to the end if it is kept in a developed country of animal protection. Japan still has a lot of problems such as slaughter and breeders breeding dogs and cats more than necessary.
カナダはご存知の通り国土も広く各家庭のお庭も広いです。それとドックパークがたくさんあったり、スーパーやレストランなどにも連れて行けたりもします。またカナダは動物愛護の先進国で飼ったら最後まで育てるのが条件で動物の飼育に関してきちんと法律で定められていて動物を大切にする国です。まだ日本は殺処分があったり、ブリーダーが犬や猫を必要以上に繁殖させたりと問題点が山積みです。
