I like this film. Not the best version of Dune by a long shot, but still good. The Harkonnens were too ugly and weird and grotesque though and it remains a mistake to have let David Lynch write the script.
Very watchable compared with the official release - hadn't been aware of FanEdits. I recommend the documentary Jodorowsky's Dune, the rollicking story of the original huge project, never taken past screenplay, that Lynch took over.
In the Grim Darkness of the Far Future, there is only dUnE.

Siaynoq :D Plenty of lesbian Fish Speakers. One of the main things was that it promoted bonding between the soldiers, so they would fight with zeal not only for the God Emperor, but for their comrades, with whom they've been intimate.
In another one of these videos, the Honored Matres one I believe, somebody made the point that the existence of the Honored Matres went against the idea behind making the Fish Speakers all-female in the first place. Any thoughts one that.
Controversial opinion, but I don't think either the Lynch or the SyFy versions of this fight did the scene in the book justice...
