今日はタクシードライバーのサントラです。
タクシードライバーは１９７６年公開のアメリカ映画で主演はロバート・デ・ニーロ。
ストーリーはウェキペディアで調べたところによると。。。
ニューヨークにある小さなタクシー会社に運転手志望の男が現れた。
トラヴィス・ビックルは、戦争によるのか深刻な不眠症を患っているため定職に就くこともままならず、タクシードライバーに就職。誰となく目的地まで送り届け運賃を受け取る毎日を過ごしていた。
社交性にやや欠け、同僚たちから守銭奴とあだ名されるトラヴィスは、余暇はポルノ映画館に通ったり、深い闇に包まれたマンハッタンを当てもなく運転する、という孤独の中にあった。
そして、そこで目にする麻薬と性欲に溺れる若者や盛り場の退廃ぶりに嫌悪を示していた。
ある日、トラヴィスは次期大統領候補パランタインの選挙事務所付近を通りかかる。彼はそこで勤務する女性に魅かれ、選挙運動に興味を示した。
彼女はベッツィーと言う名で、トラヴィスは彼女をデートに誘う。徐々に懇意になっていく二人だったが、トラヴィスは日頃の習性でベッツィーとポルノ映画館に入り、激昂させてしまう。以来どう宥めても応じず、思うように事が運ばない彼はついに選挙事務所に押し掛け「殺してやる」と罵るのであった。
民主主義の理想と現実の狭間で、トラヴィスの不眠症は深刻さを増し、心は荒んでいく一方であった。「腐敗しきったこの街を俺が浄化してやる」という思いは憤怒から実行性を帯び目的へと固まっていく。そんな中、トラヴィスのタクシーに突如幼い少女が逃げ込んできた。ヒモらしい男が彼女を連れもどす。トラヴィスは方向性を定めるにいたった。
トラヴィスは裏のルートから拳銃を仕入れ、射撃の訓練と肉体の強化に励んだ。「俺に用か? 俺に向かって話しているんだろう? どうなんだ?」トラヴィスは鏡の前で、半狂人と化した自身の鏡像を前に不敵な笑いを浮かべ、あるいは怒りに満ちた表情で瞬時に拳銃を突き出すのであった。
そんな中、トラヴィスは食料品店で強盗事件に居合わせた。彼は咄嗟に拳銃を取り出し犯人を撃つ。刑事気取りの彼は偶然にもいつかの少女と会う。アイリスと名乗る少女にトラヴィスは売春で稼ぎ学校にも行かない生活を止めるように説得した。アイリスは、恋愛などではなくヒモに騙され利用されている事に気づいていない。しまいに少女に呆きれられてしまうトラヴィス。
「あんたってスクウェアね」
トラヴィスは浄化作戦を実行に移す。次期大統領候補であるパランタインの集会に現れたトラヴィスの出で立ちは、モヒカンにサングラス。パランタインを射殺しようとした彼はシークレット・サービスに目撃され人混みの中を逃げ去った。その夜トラヴィスは、アイリスのヒモ、スポーツのアパートを訪ねた。トラヴィスは正義の名の下にスポーツや用心棒、アイリスの客を立て続けに射殺。銃弾を受けて重傷を負うも、一人の少女を売春から救った彼は新聞から英雄扱いされる。
心変わりしたベッツィーからも好意を寄せられるが、彼は何事もなかったかのように夜の街をタクシーで一人彷徨い続けるのであった。
音楽はバーナード・ハーマンBernard Herrmannニューヨーク市生まれ。
アメリカの映画音楽で活躍した作曲家で『めまい』、『北北西に進路を取れ』などや『市民ケーン』、『ケープ・フィアー』、『タクシードライバー』（遺作となった）など多くの映画作品に音楽を提供した。
僕が映画のサントラに興味を持ったのはこの映画からでした。

She is a name called Betsy, and Travis invites her to the date. Travis enters X-rated movie house with Betsy by the usual habit, and boils though was two people who make one's acquaintance gradually. Finally, he whom the thing did not carry ..campaign office.. ..thronging.. abused as did not respond no matter how it calmed it since then, and thought, "Kill".
Travis's sleeplessness increases seriousness in the interstice of ideals of democracy and the reality, and the mind kept not getting rough and going. The desire "I purify this town where it was finished to rot" ..execution.. hardens from indignation to the wearing purpose. A young girl has run into it suddenly in in such and Travis's taxis. A man who seems to be the string takes her and it returns it. Travis came to provide directionality.
Travis stocked with the gun from the route of the back, and worked hard at the training of shooting and strengthening the body. ｢For meWill you speak toward me?How what?｣Travis thrust out the mirror image of oneself who turned into a half madman in front of the mirror and the gun was thrust out instantaneously in the expression that was floated fearless laughter ahead or filled with anger.
In such and Travis happened to be in the burglar case in the food shop. Pshaw, and he takes out the gun to [**] and shoots the criminal. He of the detective nature removing meets the girl at one time by chance. Travis persuaded the girl who introduced herself as the iris to stop life where it did not go to the work school by prostitution. The iris doesn't notice the thing that is cheated by not love etc. but strings and used. It is cutting [**] Travis in the girl to putting away.

Travis puts the purification operation into practice. The dress of Travis who shows up to the meeting of [parantain] who is the president-elect candidate is sunglasses in the mohican. Man who had tried to shoot [parantain] dead was witnessed to the secret service and ran away from ..mixing.. [mino] inside of the person. Travis visited the string of the iris and the apartment of sports on that night. Travis shoots sports, under the name of the justice the bodyguard, and the guest of the iris dead in succession. Man who saved one girl from prostitution gets the hero treated from the newspaper though the bullet is received and it sustains severe injuries.
The town of the night kept cabbing as if there was not what either ..him.. and there be one person wandering though goodwill was sent by betrayed Betsy.
