最近、YAEL SALOMONというジュエリーデザイナーと一緒に仕事をする機会があった。
私は彼女をデザイナーとしてだけではなく、 一人の女性として尊敬している。彼女はとても物腰が柔らかく、仕事への取り組み方や、人とのコミュニケーションの取り方が本当に素敵で、彼女から学ぶ事は非常に多い。何よりも驚く事は、彼女は3人の子供の母親であるということ。彼女の洗練された、身の振る舞いや、服の着こなしからはとても想像が出来ない。
「洗練された」という言葉が、何においてもシックリくる彼女。
それは、彼女のコレクションにも顕著に表れている。
今シーズンは’YAEL SALOMON’という新ブランドの初コレクションだった。
Recently I had chance to work with one of my favorite designer in the world, YAEL SALOMON. I admire her not only as a designer but also as one lady. How she acts, and communicates with people is very respectable, and this is absolutely something I want to learn for. What makes me so surprised most is that she is a mother of 3 children. It’s just so hard to image that she has kids because she is very sophisticated in a way she acts and dress, and you can see it in her collection too.
This season was her first collection for this new brand called YAEL SALOMON.

ヤエル（Yael Salomon）は1973年にフランスで生まれ、1993年にバレンシアガのアートディレクション部でキャリアを始めた。現在、拠点としているテルアビブに移動した後は、オークションハウスで働き始め、近現代美術の世界に身を浸した。
その後、夫が所有するギャラリーでジュエリーキュレーターとして活躍し始め、 2000年、Shenkarデザインアカデミーに入学。 ジュエリーデザイン部門ではイスラエルで最も有名なアカデミーだ。
2011年1月には、彼女にとって初の自身のブランドMAVENを立ち上げる。落ち着きのある、且つ洗練されたジュエリーのコレクションで、最高級の半貴石や小さなガラスビーズをメインに使ったラインナップだった。
そして今シーズン、彼女は自分の名前をブランドネームに付けた新たなブランド、YAEL SALOMONをスタートさせ、時代を超越した洗練されたスタイルを確立させる。
She was born in France in 1973, and started to work at Balenciaga in 1993 in the artistic direction department. After she moved to Tel-Aviv where she is now lives in, she started her carrier at an auction house where she immerse herself in the world of modern and contemporary art.
She started to curate the jewelry for the gallery owned by her husband, and joined the Shenkar Design Academy : one of the most famous academy in Israel to study jewelry design in 2000.
In January 2011, she established her first brand called MAVEN with a sober and sophisticated jewelry collection associating intricate liquid strands of Sterling Silver and Gold filled with the finest semi-precious stones and tiny glass beads.
And this season, she just started her new brand called YAEL SALOMON with a timeless sophisticated style.
