Nike has stepped up their running game once again, as their Nike Free lineup has been re-upped Nike Free 4.0 v3 for 2014. Including in the update are Free 3.0, Free 4.0 and Free 5.0, with the former two remixed with Flyknit uppers, and the latter trying on a Hyperfuse outfit. Retooling the set from the ground up, Nike went back to the engineering room to switch the outsoles flex grooves, now patterned in a hexagonal, honeycomb formation.
Designed with flexibility and comfort at the top of its agenda, the Nike Free 5.0 v2 certainly lives up to its revolutionary status. Adding to the lightweight runners catalog is this Free 5.0 rendition that showcases a grey mesh upper, along with grey synthetic support overlays, blue accents, and a yellow tongue, Dynamic Flywire and sole trio.
For the avid runner the Nike Free series is a staple for short distance runs and a great workout shoe for the average gym-goer. The newest addition to the series is the Nike Free Run+ 3. The shoe is constructed with sport grey suede and obsidian mesh on the upper accompanied with a yellow midsole and iconic free bottom.
